After officially kicking off in France last January, the Burton Park Jam Tour 2012 continuedwith its second stop in Bialka Tatrzanska (04.02.2012), Poland, with temperatures well below -20° C. Despite the blistering cold, 25 riders gathered at the Kotelnica Białczańska snowpark to give their best in this amateur only Slopestyle Jam Session.

Burton Canadian Open
The 4th Annual 2012 Burton Canadian Open finished on a very high note with Chas Guldemond (USA) and Jamie Anderson (USA) taking top podium spots in the slopestyle finals. Blessed with beautiful bluebird skies all week, the event’s finale was held at WinSport Canada’s Canada Olympic Park in Calgary, Alberta.
Burton Park Jam in Avoriaz
Great snow conditions and bluebird skies welcomed the many young amateur riders who gathered on the 14th of January in Avoriaz, France, for the first stop of the Burton Park Jam Tour. Arriving from Italy, France and UK, the attending shredders aged 10 to 17 found a perfectly shaped slopestyle course where to perform their best tricks and impress the judges during the 3 scheduled jam sessions of 45 minutes each.

The Snowpark Schöneben is one of the first Snowparks in Italy which already shines in all ist splendor and our crew took the fine setup and the perfect weather as an opportunity for a first session. The photos and the clip already give a taste of the upcoming QParks Tourstop “Battle ROJal Schöneben” on January 14, 2012, which will turn the park into an event location for the first time.

Stuttgart Relentless BigAir 2012
In January Stuttgart (Germany) had already been blessed once. With the “Relentless BIGAIR” event coming to town, a top-class international snowboard comp had its inauguration. And despite not being known as the Mecca of winter sports, the Stuttgart event was a raving success – to more than 10.000 visitors and to the World Snowboard Tour Committee (TTR), who upgraded the contest shortly after its premier from formerly 4-stars to a 5-star TTR event, thus, propelling it to one of the world’s most prestigious in snowboarding.
